Who We Are

HWI’s staff is comprised of behavior modification specialists and health educators, as well as personnel with expertise in social marketing, product development, information technology, and consultative client management.

 

Our management team is led by internationally recognized health management authority, speaker, and author, Michael Samuelson, who contributes more than 35 years of entrepreneurial experience in the field of health promotion.

President and CEO

Michael guides HWI's long-term strategy, leads business development activities, and builds HWI's client and partner relationships through his consulting and speaking engagements nationwide.



Eileen K. Meehan
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Eileen plays a critical role in defining HWI's strategic vision and manages all of the resources and processes that support the execution of the company's business objectives.



Bill Dukes
Chief Innovation Officer

Bill runs HWI's sales, marketing, and communications activities and is a key contributor on product strategy and development.



Joanne Bilotta
Assistant Vice President, National Development

Joanne oversees the client- and member-facing activities in HWI's regional campuses, from account management and program delivery to strategic consulting and sales support.



Steve Cook
Assistant Vice President, Information Systems

Steve oversees all of HWI's data and communication resources and guides the development of hosted applications and other technology products.



Cindy Moser
Assistant Vice President, Product Development

Cindy guides HWI's long-term product strategy and manages the operational aspects of product development, launch, and revision.



Ellen Conway
Assistant Vice President, Strategic Consulting

Ellen leads the national deployment and management of all strategic consulting services for HWI, with a focus on health plan clients.



Melissa Harrison
Director, Health Management

Melissa manages the delivery of all HWI health management programs, corporate training and certification activities, and quality assurance processes.
