Participation is the key to maximizing the impact of any wellness initiative. To help our clients efficiently drive and track employee participation in their wellness programs and services, HWI developed the H.I.T.S. - Health Incentive Tracking System® application. H.I.T.S. operates as an affinity program, pairing unique participant identifiers with a tracking database to reward the individual for engaging in client-defined behaviors.
Through the use of existing technologies, HWI has integrated reporting, incentive tracking, and organizational health goals in one streamlined, turnkey application, which requires minimal customization and implementation setup.
The H.I.T.S. application allows for comprehensive reporting on participation in programs and services, enabling HWI to measure the impact of promotional techniques, incentive prizes, scheduling, and other factors, and tailor the ongoing wellness programming strategy accordingly.
Participant data collected during programming can be used to support a variety of tactics, including targeted outreach promoting future programs, follow-up communications for maintenance activities, program evaluation, or outcomes analysis.
Data Integration and Compliance Tracking
The third generation of the H.I.T.S. application has been engineered to exchange data feeds with a health plan or employer’s external databases or hosted applications for health management. These data are then presented in a single online interface, providing a cohesive dashboard view in real time of member uptake and completion metrics across multiple programs and resources from multiple service providers.
The H.I.T.S. application’s ability to track individual participation across multiple activities from multiple sources is further enhanced by the use of a new compliance measurement functionality, which compares the member's or employee’s activities against a predefined curriculum of actions. HWI customizes the compliance criteria for each sponsoring plan or employer, to support a broad spectrum of incentive strategies.
The result is a comprehensive wellness incentive management platform which can support value-based benefit designs at the employer and health plan level.
