Results

Three recent studies have demonstrated the following examples of quantifiable return on investment for HWI’s prevention-focused programs and services:

  • 6,500 client health plan members who took HWI’s proprietary Personal Health Assessment through a worksite wellness program showed a reduction in annual medical claims cost of 10 to 15%, compared with non-participants.

  • HWI has demonstrated that participation in wellness programming is linked to increased productivity.

  • Sample employer groups exhibited population health risk reductions over a multi-year examination, with an aggregate reduction of 9% in medical claims costs.
