Organizational Health Evaluation

The Organizational Health Evaluation is the perfect solution for any organization looking to create a culture of health for its employees. This multi-dimensional analysis uses a variety of tools to provide an organization-wide assessment of employee health and the related costs to the organization. The evaluation also assesses the capacity of an organization to provide the support its members need to successfully reach their personal health goals.

An organization’s data is collected through onsite observation of all facilities, review of existing health management solutions and policies, and an examination of health-related data captured through claims and other reports, as available. In the event that a Personal Health Assessment campaign is implemented, the resulting aggregate data will also be included in the Organizational Health Evaluation. The data from the evaluation are presented in an overall rating of the health of the organization’s employees. This is combined with data-driven strategic insights and recommendations on three critical dimensions of the organization’s health.

  • Organizational Culture is measured through an analysis of management support, existing health management programs, smoking policies, and existing wellness efforts.
  • Health Communications channels and their effectiveness in reaching employees are reviewed and scored to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Our Healthy Workplace Opportunities assessment examines the safety of the work environment, the resources present in the physical environment (including access to fitness resources), the safety of the community surrounding the worksite, and the availability of healthy dining resources onsite and in the community.

The Organizational Health Evaluation requires the cooperation of key employees at an organization for successful completion.  However, the Health Management Consultant will work closely with each client to streamline management input, minimize interruptions to an employee’s workday, and maximize the data collection process. The result is a comprehensive report on the health of an organization and a road map for moving forward with the appropriate level of wellness programs and services needed to create a sustainable culture of health.
