Organizational Health Audit

The Organizational Health Audit is the perfect solution for any organization looking to create a culture of health for its employees. This multi-dimensional audit uses a variety of tools to provide an organization-wide assessment of employee health and the related costs to the organization. The audit also assesses the capacity of an organization to provide the support its members need to successfully reach their personal health goals.

An organization’s data is collected through onsite observation of all facilities, review of existing health management solutions and policies, and an examination of health-related data captured through claims and other reports, as available. The data from the audit are presented in an overall rating of the health of the organization’s employees. This is combined with data-driven strategic insights and recommendations on five critical dimensions of the organization’s health.

  1. Personal Health Status is measured using a Personal Health Assessment to assess population health risks, health behaviors, and readiness to change.
  2. Health-Related Costs are analyzed through available medical claims, absenteeism rates, and disability cost data.
  3. Organizational Culture is evaluated through an employee survey and an analysis of existing health management programs, smoking policies, and existing wellness efforts.
  4. A Local Environment audit will look at the safety of the work environment, access to fitness resources, and the availability of healthy dining resources onsite and in the community.
  5. Health Communications channels and their effectiveness in reaching employees are reviewed and scored to provide recommendations for improvement.

The Organizational Health Audit requires the cooperation of key employees at an organization to effectively implement.
